Over a dozen people are being accused of covering up and taking part in a $13 million dollar drug operation in Maine.
Those charged include four current or former members of law enforcement, one assistant district attorney and also one town official.
According to our media partner,WGME, Franklin County Assistant District Attorney Kayla Alves is accused of tipping off people involved in the drug business and Rangeley town selectman, David Burgess, is also accused of accepting tens of thousands of dollars in cash from the alleged leader of the operation, Lucas Sirois of Farmington.
