On Friday, Nov. 19, we could see a near-total lunar eclipse. It’s the longest of the century.

The full Beaver Moon, is expected to be a 97% total lunar eclipse, the first of this length in 580 years. Nearly all of the moon’s surface will be shrouded in the Earth’s shadow.

The Beaver Moon eclipse should peak just after 4am and will be visible across North America.
