Have you received an email from Facebook saying you need to enable Facebook Protect or your account would be disabled? It almost looks like a scam, but it is legit.

So don’t worry about the “Your account requires advanced security.” Just click through the “Turn on Facebook Protect” link in the email. It takes a couple of seconds, and you’ll be all set.

Once “Facebook Protect” is turned on, it goes through to check your account for vulnerabilities and makes sure you’re signed up for two-factor authentication. Meta says that significantly improves the security of your account.
